While I'm not a big proponent of feeding most corals directly, I like to throw them a bone once in a while. Problem is, my sailfin tang and others swoop in and take just about every morsel.

Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to avoid this? I've tried to wait until late at night--but most of my fish wake up when they smell food.

Any other ways to get my corals some grub?

I saw someone made a contraption out of a 2 liter bottle and PVC. Cut the bottom off the 2 liter. Put some PVC down the top. Put the 2 liter over the coral/anemone and drop some food down over it. I thought it was a cool idea, it might work for you...

ya know fish poop feeds corals.....

however, you can direct or target feed some, also, cyclops & oyster eggs once a week should do the trick.

something similar to this...
