Filtration/circulation options for a ~3 gallon bowl

So…. I have an extra light laying around and want to set up a small saltwater bowl on my desk. I’m not looking to keep any fish or anything. I’d like to have some easy softies in it eventually (zoas, gsp, mushrooms), and maybe some snails/crabs for clean up.

What options are available to filter and circulate the water in something like that? Anyone have any luck with a similar set up?

Cant find link but saw a really nice fish bowl article guy had going for years.

He used air pump bubbler. Also evaporation was a big deal with such small volume so he had tight lid.

Awesome, thank you! I have an old xr15 just laying around and a couple of neat glass containers I want to play around with. I have an old air pump from my freshwater days and the airline tubing. Just need to find a little heater it seems and I’ll be good to go!
