Need ideas for my new tank. was wondering what methods you guys use to keep your nitrates/phosphates down. What equipment you guys use in your sumps?

Gfo/carbon, algae scrubber, skimmer: objective achieved

Good skimmer and refugium work wonders for me. I do throw in a bag of carbon about once a month

Oversized skimmer, large refugium(with a powerful led light, not a cheap bulb) , gfo reactor, and lots of coral. Coral use Nitrate and phosphate too.
