Just the name of this coral tells me that you must have placed a second mortgage on the house to pay for it. It is beautiful and looks better in your tank than it would in mine. It would be dead in last than a week in my tank. Very nice find.

Wow that was you? At least you won't complain when I try to sell you a very expensive nub! Lol
Truthfully I have lost out on a few of these and my wife pretty much said I wasnt getting that when she found out the price range... Then I bought her a new rock for our anniversary (she had a craigslist ring from our early days), let that simmer down a bit and then told her I'm getting this frag no matter what. She just rolled her eyes which seemed like a yes to me!! My max bid was stupid... Let's just say it ended nowhere close to it thank goodness.

Sheesh. That auction was aggrieved in the last 30 seconds. Good news is, everything I've read to understand this gem, is that it's hardy and a good grower. I will gladly help you recoup some of that cost. I really would love to see this in person when it arrives.

Funny thing about these is that both were originally purchased as ugly ducklings and they've turned into this. I think this color morphing is the most attractive part of keeping SPS. And most frustrating.

I'm going to start looking for the most brown tenuis I can find out there! Lol

I've been following that thread on there from the beginning, and every time I see a meh looking tenuis, i'm tempted to buy it.
