Finally got off my duff and joined ARC. Been reading the threads for awhile. I have a 90 gal RR AGA that is finally going reef. Been doing this for almost two years, Started with a standard 55 gal and upgraded in Feb to a 90 as I couldn't control nitrates or anything with the 55, no overflow. Got all my algae under control, coraline algae is taking off. Got my first corals, softies for now (as I have T-5's), polyps and mushrooms which are doing well. Now I'm ready to get some more soft corals and make this tank all it can be. Gee this hobby is addicting! The more you get the more you want!
My setup includes Nova Extreme T-5 HO, CSS (Looking to upgrade skimmer), 20 gal sump, phosban reactor, Mag 7 sump pump, 2 Koralia 4 powerheads, 100# rock (Carribean, Agrocrete, Fiji and Branch rocks), 90# Caribsea Sugar Sand, and a homemade stand.
"My Children"::fish: True Percula Clown, Yellow Tang, Cherub Angel, Citron Goby, Lawnmower Blenny, Pincushion Urchin (Banished to the overflow for now as he likes to eat coraline algae), Coral Banded Shrimp, Mithrax Emerald Crab somewhere in there, and various hermits and snails.
Looking forward to checking out some of the meetings and getting together with other reefers. Any reefers near LaGrange?
