Was hoping you all could help me make a stock list. I currently have only a single small/medium clown in a 125, but my parameters are finally in a good place, and I am ready to slowly add some fish.

My goal is a mixed reef, maybe even SPS eventually, so I will need you all to factor that when thinking about my fish stock list. I know I want a few tangs, but need help deciding on some other fish as well. Maybe even a semi reef safe Angel? Help me pick out some cool fish!

yellow, kole tangs, flame angel, yellow watchman, royal gramma, radiant wrasse, yellow wrasse, and any of the flasher wrasses...all are reef safe

oo how bout a shark? lol j/k

flmae angels are really nice, i have one and love it. blennys are really good too, full of personality and everything.

Radiant wrasse is one of my favorite, school of green chromis, clown tang, purple tang, and maybe maby a sohol tang if you can put them in at the same time. for this combination you will also need a large tank. here is a picture of the wrasse, just so you can see the beauty. enjoy

Royal Grammas are awesome. I have a black ray prawn goby that is beautiful and visible almost all of the time. It is also a great fish. Firefish are good, but have a tendency to be eaten by bristleworms at night.

Yep...sort of :) Not too much going on right now with living things in the tank. Just added 40 snails and 20 blue legs.

Since when did Flame Angel's become safe? Semi safe I suppose... we're considering a second aquarium at some point, just so we don't have to worry about the 50/50 chance of it nipping the poor corals... such a beautiful fish, I just don't know if it's worth the risk to us...

I have one in a predominately SPS tank and the only thing he nips at are the rocks trying to catch amphipods and grazing over the rocks. I took the chance and had him about 6-8 months.. very beautiful fish and great personailty.

A radiant will need an established tank to give it the best opportunity for survival. The clown and sohal tang I would stay away from all together.
Purple tang would be great.

Agreed. A Sohal will get too big for a 125 for sure. I'm not even comfortable planning for one in an 8' 240g.
