It looked like this. I found the picture at http://www.starfish.ch/collection/anemones.html">this link</a>, but no info. This site calls it the hell's fire anemone.

The one I saw looked like a big, white, perfectly-formed snowflake. It was about the size of a saucer.

I have a flower a/k/a rock anemone in my tank now. It looks like http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/2018/product.web">this</a>.

The anemone I saw today at Cappachinno Bay looked like a big, lace doily. This mystery is going to drive me crazy. Maybe I'll just go get it and take my chances....

Here we have the graceful but painfully subtle Fire Anemone

tell us how bad the sting hurts

Very pretty... A lot of nems are fishie killers but these are very proficient at it. They're called fire nems because their stings are supposed to be very painful and powerful akin to lighting your hand on fire. Not good for a reef tank or anything with fish in it... but it could be nice in the right setup.

None of the pictures there look like what I saw.

Oh well. "When in doubt, leave it out" ~ so I guess I'll just leave it be. They had it in a separate floating basket, so maybe that's why (if it's a fish-killer).

Think i'll start taking a camera with me when I go LFS-hopping. I still can't find anything online that looks like what I saw.

Hmmm, I'm intrigued. Since the store is just a few minutes away I'm going to have to go check it out.

If it's still there, take a picture. It's in one of those little baskets attached to the side of a big tank ~ across the aisle from the HUGE clam, near the counter.
