First a little history, my 90 gal has been running now for 4 1/2 weeks. After 2 weeks no detectable levels of ammonia or nitrites(Ammonia peaked after week 1 @.25). So after that I did a 30 gal water change and added my CUC.(approx 50 snails and 20 hermits and 2 emerald crabs). All members are doing well except for the loss of a Turbo snail that died a couple days after addition. Since the big water change still no signs of Ammonia(salifert) nitrite/nitrate(seachem),and most algae is gone with the exception of some diatoms in the sandbed(snails like to stay on the glass). I would like to add a juvenile pair of clowns first. With my tank being so new would two fish be too much for my biological filter? Could they potentially cause an ammonia spike?
PS. Curious if anyone has seen any nice juvenile clowns at any LFS/ or do we have any members that breed them
Thanks in advance
Kenny
