Hey guys I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. I am Torye i am working on my second 55 gallon saltwater tank its mostly fish and live rock now. Later on im thinking of adding minimum coral but other then that i am looking forward to being apart of the ARC community.

Well i started reading this forum about 3 days ago and the setup i had before is nothing compared to what you all are doing here right now im playing catch up i just purchase T5 lighting fixture which i have to say is awsome and the new protein skimmer i have works wonders so will be learning alot from you all im gonna go snap a couple pics of what i have so far and put them up

correct i have had one before but not with as much effort i have put into this one here are a couple of pics i just snapped and a protein skimmer i purchased and cant use not quite sure what to do with it yet other then that enjoy. (sorry for the camera phone pics)

Is that a sump in the last 2 pics. Behind the skimmer? If your wanting to hook it up,
QChris at Fishscales would probably come out and drill the tank and build an overflow for you.

Also, I'd paint the back to hide equipment.

I don't see a sump...
The skimmer looks like a Seaclone 100? If so, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they aren't very popular. I owned one once, and recently gave it away (less the Maxijet pump). :sad:
