Fish addition question

I've always kept my fish keeping to a minimum so I have a really noobish question.

can i add another clown to my tank? right now I have a pretty large maroon in there.

can I add a smaller one or will he get destroyed? what if he goes in with 3 or four other fish?

Check this older post out from Budsreef.. he was successful in pairing up his clown.
