Fish and Cleaner Shrimp

Today I witnessed something I've never seen before. My clowns and my yellow tang(mainly the tang) picked at my cleaner shrimp's feelers until they were gone. Why did this happen? Will the shrimp die without them?

Orlando the cleaner shrimp will probably get them back when he molts unless he goes into shock and won't eat. My purple tang snatched the feelers off of one of mine and they came back. The tang may be bored or extra hungry, try feeding a little extra algae to keep his mind off the shrimp and make sure the shrimp has a place to hide and extra food too! Good Luck:yes:
