For thoae who mix up their own fish food, what kind of medicines or additives are you adding.
I mix up flake food, pellets, Emerald entree, brine shrimp, reef chili and garlic. Feeding a few drops once a day or every other day.

My question is, what's a good General medication that I could add did the fish food or maybe amino acids? Specifically, for overall health of fish and when new fish are added to Aid with any damage during shipping or stress.

Just my experience: I do not mess with medicines in food. I QT religiously (or, at least, I used to, but my fish don't die anymore so I am out of the fish buying business and my QT setup is packed away). My QT protocol involves copper and prazi, but no food additives.

For fish in my DT now, I soak pellet food in selcon or vitamins (Kent Zoe) every few days, mostly because the fish go bananas over selcon. Nori. Also feed frozen at night. Happy fish. But no medicine additives.
