can anyone show me how to make the coke bottle trap im not too sure how or where to cut the neck or any other homemade traps will be great also

First off, what are you trying to catch? How big is it?

I think the coke bottle trap is most effective for inverts, never tried it on a fish.

I caught a wrasse in a coke bottle trap. Pretty decent size one too. 2 1/2 inches maybe.

<li>Remove the lid and label from a clean, empty plastic two-liter soda bottle.</li>
<li>Carefully remove the upper third of the bottle by cutting along its circumference at approximately where the top of the label used to be.</li>
<li>Put bait inside.</li>
<li>Turn the cone upside-down and insert it into the cup-shaped bottom part of the bottle. Seal the seam at the top of the bottle with super glue or just wedge it where it is in there good..</li>
<li>Make sure the opening is big enough for the target fish to enter. Widen if necessary</li>
