This is definitely one of my favorites, and now it seems Liveaquaria is carrying them in the Divers Den. The price is less than half of what I've seen other places (and I've only seen a couple). If they come up with a pair, I might have to jump on it.

Saw this little guy last night. stunning.

Very cool nano fish, great with a shirmp. Name makes me think of it coming out of a cave going "Heeeeeeeyyyyyyy"

lmk if you order brian as i might be down to throw in hopefully cutting some of the shipping cost

This is one my favorite fish. I have had a few over my time in this hobby. I currently have one in my SPS 28g Nanocube HQI (maybe 2, haven't seen the second in forever). I see him about once every six months, they are very cryptic fish. If you want to see them more often, I suggest a 2.5 gallon nano tank.

Why would you be interested in a pair? You don't need a pair to put multiples in a tank. I know of no methods for sexing these, and I believe they are solitary in nature. I don't really see any aggression between conspecifics so putting two, or more of the same sex together in a tank shouldn't matter.

The price on liveaquaria is better than most, but my LFS can still get them a lot cheaper than that. Try Rit and see what he can get them for. If my LFS in a small South GA town can manage to get them and sell them for significantly less than that, Rit should be able to also.

Hope this helps,
Landon

I just like seeing the smaller fish in pairs, no other reason than my own preferences.

I almost bought it for my seven gallon. Im kicking myself now :/ I deffinately would want more than one though. I have read that it makes them show off more. Such a neat fish!
