What can I use to get rid of them and not hurt the tank and the inhabitants?

If anything?

Thanks

I used flatworm exit on my old 58 gallon twice with success. I took all the precautions and followed the instructions exactly. Syphoning out as many flatworms as I could before hand helps. You just have to be prepared for a 50% water change and have plenty of carbon ready.

That was also before I had clams and sps, so that may not be a whole lot of help.

My 2 cents,

Andy

I believe you can use Salifert's Flatworm Exit in the tank. The only prob I remember reading is that when the flatworms die, they release a toxin, so when you kill a whole bunch of them, that's a whole lot of toxin in your tank which isn't good for other corals and fish.

I have read that you should try and pick off as many as you can before you decide to use the FW Exit.

Hopefully someone else with some more experience with this can either back me up or can tell me where I am wrong at.
