what do you guys think about this float switch. i am getting two because one will add calcium and the other will add alkalinity

Kind of pricey b/c of the relay and the transformer. I just used a 120 VAC compatible one with a slosh guard- works fine.

Also, I'm assuming you're trying to add your calcium and alkalinity at different times. How will you accomplish that with two kits?

would it not be easier to use aqualifter pumps on a timer for the dosing and use the floats for the top off?

I've used this design for my water top off for 3+ years and its flawless. It was like 16+the cost of a cheapo pump

The aquahub float switch is actually rated up to 220 VAC.
