Flow question

Yesterday I noticed my MP20's impeller not moving and frozen. I removed the wet side from the tank and soaked it in vinegar for about an hour. When I removed the nozzle/wet side from the bucket of vinegar a few loose pieces of cracked plastic were at the bottom of the bucket. Thankfully it is being replaced under warranty and will have a replacement next week.

My question is how long can my corals live without the PH? The only flow that I have in the 72 gallon bow front is the flow from the overflow return. Will that be enough until the wet side is replaced next week?

Denise,
This happened to me, what you have to worry about is lower O2. If you've got even a maxi jet it would help. Not saying bad things will happen just being safe.

Thank you for your response Colin! I just pulled a PH out of my mixing bucket, it's soaking in vinegar right now so that it will be clean and carefree (at least I hope). It's a Koralia 2 so hopefully that will be enough for now.

Thanks again!

Bro???? LOL. I appreciate the offer, it's nice to have someone close by in the event I need something.

Actually if I don't find the magnetic side of the Koralia I might need your MJ. I will let you know.

Thank you again,
Denise

Not a bad idea to pick up a Koralia as a backup. I have a few on hand that I keep for spares & mixing salt. They're cheap...

LOL, that is fine even though dudette may work better

I have the Koralia 2 in the tank, it's doing pretty well. I have another one that I use for my salt mixing as well. However, I broke the red thingy that attaches the magnetic part to the actual housing. The red plastic broke off in the housing for the PH, do you have any suggestions on how to remove it? I'm wondering if I can get a drill bit small enough to drill a hole in the center and work it out that way.

Any suggestions would help, this way I can have two Koralia's in there.

Thanks in advance,
Denise
