Hey guys, I need help determining what kind of pump I'll need for a chiller I plan on getting. I plan to get an EcoPlus 1/10 HP chiller. The min. flow rate for this chiller is 132gph and max is 264gph. I was wondering if a maxijet 1200 will be up for the job? ( I have 2 laying around) The maxijet 1200 is rated at 250gph ( in perfect condition of course).

I'm not sure how to do the math on this since I have no idea how much flow it will lose on turns and elevation. I plan to have the maxijet sit about a foot to a foot and a half under the water line in my sump. So it will have to pump water up above water line and then it will drop about 3.5 feet down to the chiller which will be under the tank (sump is built into the back of tank). Having the water flow through the chiller and then back up to the back of my tank (sump), but before it re-enters the tank, it will first go through a media reactor in which I run carbon. The intake of the media reactor is about 3 inches above my water line and it will drop a foot down into the reactor and then back up the reactor to the output in which then it will enter the sump again.

I hope all that made since. If you guys feel that a maxijet won't cut it, please recommend a pump that will.

Thanks in advance for anything advise/help.
