I wounder what people think of this stuff.

I just got my Fluval in today and debating wherethe to use them or not.

Fluval BIOMAX Filter Media
Use Instructions
Remove protective plastic bag and rinse thoroughly with aquarium-safe, chlorine-free water. Place directly into media basket or filter chamber, depending on canister filter style. For optimal filtration, place at the end of the filtration process.

Cleaning/Maintenance Instructions
Rinse monthly using water from the aquarium. Never rinse with tap water or any water that could contain chlorine. Replace every six months, depending on fish load.

I am thinking if I does change it out every 6 months then it not really a bad idea to use them

In addition to your current setup, it would be good.

If you were just using the canister filter, I would agree with Victor - but in this case your are adding it as a final stage to a very good setup.

hell i have some of this stuff might give it a try once i get that canister from you wolfie

ROLF!! THought you say it no good?

On the other note. I am running a Sump/fug and an Octopus Recirc Needlewheel 110. Going to mash mod it this week, or weeken.

That Fluval 405 are to use as extra filter and carbon and maybe some other stuff to help
