Food Question

This may be a dumb question but I need to know.....

I just got some Ocean Nutrition frozen cubes (formula 1 & 2) last night to try them out. When I thaw them in some RO water they don't break apart like the frozen cubes I've used before. They stay together even if I try to break them apart. I'm used to it breaking up into all of the goodness that's packed inside of the cube. Is this normal for this brand or is something wrong?

It may be the new gel based cubes. I usually just stick them frozen on the side of a power head and let it disperse the food nuggets.

I would say that it is the gel based because that's exactly the consistency. So, I guess it still has all of the good stuff in it you just don't see it all like the non-gel based cubes? I'll try sticking it to a power head. Thanks!

With the gel stuff. I let it thaw just a little. Then slice it up. The fish like the larger pcs. IMHO

It goes nicely through a garlic press too
