FOWLR Redsea 750XXL

So I am setting up a FOWLR Redsea 750XXL tank. I just got the lights mounted for it last night. I will have the Reefbreeders Photon 50-V2+ over the tank. I will actually be having the tank delivered today. I bought the tank gently used but I am so excited to get this thing up and going. I recently bought a water 100g water trough from Tractor supply (it was on sale for 75.99 ^_^) So I have most of my live rock and fish in there currently in holding.

Very nice, what kind of fish are you planning to have there?

Currently what will be going in is cuba hog fish, unicorn tang, hippo tang, melanurus wrasse, emperor angle ,and a magnificent foxface. I want to add a sand sifter golby (maybe), bicolor goat fish, squareback antheis, and maybe another angle or 2.

Thanks I have it all set up but I had a velvet outbreak and it killed all of my fish. I have since started 2 QT tanks and the fish are going through QT now. The tank is also going through a Fishless cycle currently. I have added a 55w UV sterilizer and an algae scrubber.

Some of the new fish will be done with their QT on Fri and the last day of my Fallow period will be this Sunday so I will be moving fish into the tank on Monday Dec 14. I cannot wait. I have a large purple tang, Mimic tang, hippo tang, porcupine puffer, and an juvenile Emperor that will be going into it then. I still have a Aussi harlequin tusk, a Large Belted Wrasse, and a Passer Angelfish that are currently going through QT at the moment so they wont be added for awhile.

I just recently decided to go to FOWLR for now. Lifes stressful enough right now without me worrying about my coral all the time. Enjoying my fish and eels for now and I kinda like it! interested in seeing this all done and running!

Ya I feel ya there. I have a 18 month old so I don't have the time for a reef set up currently so I decided to step back to a fish only set up. I'll eventually go back to reef set up but not for awhile. I love puffers as well. I really want a golden puffer!!

Nice stock list. I'm a huge fan of tangs and angels. Unfortunately, I like corals a lot, so no angels for me except my 1 bellus.

While I like tangs.. im a bigger fan of things like large wrasse, eels, and puffers.

So here is an updated pic of the tank. I added the fish yesterday and so far they have all clung to each other and stayed on one side of the tank. Slowly they have been venturing out though. Cant wait till they really start swimming around!
