Frag Rack

I have a pretty long fuge and was thinking about separating it into 2 sections. The entire bottom has a 5" sand bed. I was wanting to use the first half for chaeto under a 6500 light and the other section for a frag rack under a MH pendant or so.

Anyone see any issues with that? I haven't seen anyone put a frag rack in a fuge yet.

I did it for about a year and it worked alright. I kept getting macro algae growth in the frag section though, which is because I had very invasive macros lol. They responded a lil too well to the halide.

I saw you were interested in that viper I had... that's precisely the light I was using.

Yeah, I am looking for a smaller pc for the chaeto section (12") and then a MH pendant or so for the other section.

My main display lights are 250's I may try and find a 250W pendant.
