Frag Racks

Hey guys I usually make my own frag racks out of just gluing and old mag float magnet to egg cratte simple enough right?

well this time I wanted to try to get a manufactured one for better magnet strength

Have any of you had any experience with the fragarack.com frag racks they look really close to what im looking for but before I drop the duckies on it I wanna make sure they are worth it.

The only non-homemade ones I've used are the Eshoppps. I like them, but if I had a wish I'd ask for a little bit stronger magnets.

well I know with the home made one if I picked up a magnet made for a larger tank than mine, or used 2 magnets on one rack I could get what I think I will need but by the time I do all that I will have more money in the magnets than what the rack would cost lol

I have an eshopps in a storage crate in my laundry room right now and am currently using two pair of magnets from BRS and some black egg crate. I can fit many more frags, it takes up much less room, and does not restrict any flow. My initial investment was a little more but with the leftover eggcrate I know I can make another rack in minutes to custom fit any space I want it too.

Also, the inside magnet in my eshopps skimmer detached from the rack when I was cleaning it and exposed the magnet, eshopps is prob best known for their racks and it is my least fav product of theirs. I love their filter media and skimmers

the eshopps is the black one I had in my 90...I think it was garbage....... but Im sure it will ur like it

i just got the eshopps clear corner rack. i like it so far...

I have looked at the ehopps racks and have had mixed reviews. I may as much as I don't want a DIY just do one myself. I can't ever seem to find the black eggcrate though.

I am using an eshopps black corner rack and I like it because it blends into my tanks background. I have had 12 frags on it at once and it held, but there was some movement.

i use an eshops rack, one of the big ones. I have an extra magfloat type magnet that I use on the lip in addition to what it came with and it doesn't budge.

i have both corner and one side racks from eshops. i just put some extra magnets i had to make them sit stronger but i never had an issue with things falling off them or them moving.
