Finally about to start plumbing today! I will post some more picture once it’s done.

Not a fan of the MAG pumps for full time operation, they add a ton of heat into the water and the screws will 100% rust. I would look into replacing those before going online. Everything else looks fantastic! Great equipment!

Outside of the noise, never had an issue with ours (Mag 18 I believe). It's been retired to the 150g mixing station when we upgraded to the Neptune COR-15 (much quieter). I wonder if they used different screws at one point. Using it externally now but it was in our sump for a bit over a year without anything rusting.

That mag 12 is 5 years old not a spec of rust and still works like brand new. You just have to make sure you clean them and don’t let salt build up on the screws, dunk them in RO once every few months and you won’t have an issue

How do you like the cor-15? One of the main reasons I just through the mags on there, was because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to go with.

So much quieter than the AC Mag drive pump. Noise reduction wise second only to changing our drain to a Herbie mod. I went with the COR-20 but had to return it due to an injection molding defect on the intake threads from the factory. Thankfully Premier took care of it for us and did a refund and I needed a pump so I went with the COR-15 which was what was in stock. The advantage of the 20 is it can be run without an Apex since it has it's own controller.

Looking good!! I love seeing water, it is the "ALOMST THERE" finally stage lo.
