frag tank lighting

Tank dimensions are 24x12x6 im running 2 pc bulbs right now but looking for a suggestion I was thinking t-5 or mh or possibly led what would be the best bang for the bug in terms of right now cost

mines 24 x 14 x 14 and i run a sunpod 150 mh with a 14k phoenix bulb....does a great job. I found mine on here used for less than $150. Ill upgrade to led's one day along with my dt but for time being, i couldnt beat the cost.

my frag tank is going to be 24x12x8 and I am going to use T5 . I have looked at led but not worth the price

Yah there is advantages and disadvantages to every option. With the Leds its way more upfront cost, mounting close to the tank but no heat, no replacing bulbs, lower energy bill and crazy crazy color

Metal Halides in a 6'' deep frag tank means short 6-8 hour photo periods more heat and expensive bulb replacement.

T5HO are not too bad in up front cost and bulbs are not too crazy expensive but i worry about being able to do much sps with just the t-5's
