Frag tank lightning

Since I can't setup a separate frag tank, I turned the refugium section of my sump into a frag tank.

I see lots of people just turn up their blues on their frag tanks. Im not sure if it's just for visual pleasure or if that's the way they grow their frags. How have y'all set it up? I have a Kessil A360W hanging 5" from the water surface and the frags 5.5" below the water surface. Currently I have it dialed to 60% blue (dial is between quarter blue and 50%) and intensity at 50%.

My frag tank runs all blues, it's good for color but not so much for growth.

For me, I have it both ways via apex.

When my cabinet doors open, it’s turned to blue (usually because people are coming over to look at frags). But during other time when kessil program kicks in, I have it a full spectrum for growth.
