frag tank stand

small frag tank is 20 x 16 and 11 tall. made of acrylic

do i need to have a solid top for it to sit on, or can I just have a frame?

If I were building it for you I would put a piece of plywood on it but more importantly would be the support/s across the middle. At least one half way.

I agree with Dave. It will also help keep the stand from racking (twisting).
