Frag tank?

Would this be a good frag tank? It was my old turtle tank and it looks like a 25 gallon.

If it holds water, it can hold frags. Do you know how to build a frag rack?

It's easy. And there's a few ways you an do it. I built mine out of eggcrate (find it in the lighting section at Home Depot as a light diffuser) and zipties. Or you can secure a flat piece of eggcrate to legs made out of PVC. Or, if you want to go all fancy, you could drill holes for frag plugs in acrylic like that tank that I showed you on ebay has.

Or you could even purchase a frag rack but I think they are generally overpriced for the concept of holding frags.

well you buy them, or make them, but they are pretty cheap.

No my buddy gave me a handful and I still haven't used them all. Someone else can hopefully tell you a good site to buy them from

I think they have to be cured after you buy them, or they will get covered in algae. Someone else will have to explain that too lol

And what about lights? Looking for something under 100 new or used. The longest they could be is 2 feet.

I don't know of any in particular; however, keep an eye out on the Sell threads... people are selling lights all the time.

Jacob - come and see me. I have some eggcrate (that white grid stuff) frag racks I can give you. Just make note of the dimensions of your tank - length and width and I can probably give you some - I have a bunch that we won't be using anymore (obviously... LOL). Dimensions of your tank will help me find something that will fit. Remember that 20 long you were looking at in my store? It's got 2 racks that Brian made to fit in that tank - so I should be able to find you something that will fit in yours.
