Frag zoos

Ok, so ill say I know a little about sps,but I never got into zoanthids!

To frag do just pull off and glue down?

it depends on how loosely theyre attached some will attach themselves to a very small spot like the tip of a rock or a grain or two of sand and usually those are pretty easy to pull off because whatever theyre attached to comes right up but if they are well attached to a rock you're not going to get them off without damaging them so its best to cut the rock theyre on.

I used a scalpel to cut them off and a small amount of glue on the rock or plug you're gluing them to.

Thank you. You saved me the time in your first paragraph.

As for fragging, if they're on a plug, you can get a razor underneath the mat and move a couple. On a rock, take bone-cutters and "nibble" at the rock beneath the zoa's and then you can glue that little bit of rock with the polyps onto a plug or another piece of rubble.

But again PLEASE wear some protection. Palytoxins are SERIOUSLY nothing to play with. Just because they're all nice & harmless in the tank doesn't mean they won't kill you like a venomous snake.
