I bought a new colony of Zoanthids and cant place them into the area I want to because there are polyps under the rock and I don't want them to die. What is the best way to relocate these?!?

I did buy some super glue: Loctite Super Glue Liquid(meant to get gel).

Beat way is to cut through the rock where they are attached glue the rock to a larger rock done.

Okay! Yeah, I'm not wanting to cut the rock, just to scrape the polyps off and relocate them! I am going to cut them at the base of the polyp and use super glue to hold them!
Thanks for the help!

okay, so, If I stick the razor blade under the polyp, it should come off, meaning the whole thing?

Will it be safe for me to put the rock with super glue into the tank? It's not toxic to my fish and corals is it?

Super glue is fine for a tank...super glue gel is better since it is easier to work with. Look out for "wet" glue as curious crabs and fish may bite/peck/grab at it and you can guess the outcome..uh huh...glued shut claws!

I have a lot of Loctite liquid super glue. I think I have very little of the gel. Is liquid okay?

FWIW you can get super glue gel at the dollar store for $1 and works great. I grab 10-20 everytime i stop in.

haha! I just finished relocating them! I went well! It was my first time doing it! When will they open back up?

Well if everything went well, my guess would be today when the lights come on. Glad to hear you had success.
