free corals from frag swap

I got some of the free corals from the frag swap earlier in the year (april? Scott blvd?) and they were growing really well but I just cooked them with my heater, but the dinos are gone so it's 50/50 :/

Oh well. Does anyone remember what type of acro that was? The cephastria *might* make a comeback if it can fight off the algae that took hold.

We had multiple sps corals we gave away during that event, do you have a picture from before the heater mishap? That would help.

yes. It's the brown-skin with green polyps acro in the center of the rack here. Seeing that tiny sliver of cephastrea really makes me hope it comes back because it grew a ton!
