I bought a new Hawkins blue yesterday and gave it a 6hr interceptor bath in my 4.4 qt tank. Before I trash the water, does anyone want to use this opportunity to rid themselves of any pests(red bugs)? This is only a 4.4, so I can only take a few corals, but I am home all day today for drop off and all day tomorrow for pick up. Other wise I'll drain the tank on Tuesday evening.
The water was taken directly from my Display tank yesterday 5mins before the Hawkins went in. SG: 1.026 ca: 420 alk: 3.2-3.5mg/l mg 1350. No nitrate no phosphate. The temp is 81.5.
Just send me an email:
