Ive had a nice big four tunk frogspawn or torch coral for over a year growing great. When I changed tanks 2 months ago everyone else has been happy (except one of three Favia). I think my FS started downhill from excess flow because it appeared the head getting the most flow was ripped off. I cut off dead trunk and moved to lower flow area.
Now My FS has lost two heads slowly over time and does not put out its thick long tentacles any more. They are tiny and thin. I've moved him several times to a lower flow areas and even put a rock in front of it.
In my old tank he got more flow but perhaps less lighting. Any suggestions to help this guy?
My favorite Favia has not opened back up since the move. It hasn't lost any color but it's hard as a rock and is not expanding.
I had it in the center of flow/ light (not direct) on a rock. I moved it and rock closer to he bottom and it's still not opening. My other Favias are growing great and went through the same tank change.
My current lighting is the CPF 105 blue/ white.
Salinity always stable, temp 78-80, water test all in normal range.
Any ideas why these guys aren't happy like all the rest?
Anything I can do to help them?
I'll try to add pic soon.
I'm getting worried I may lose my FS but the Favia's color is perfect but must not be eating and it's been 2 months.
Thank you for any advise.
