Yes, cover bottom of cup with garlic gaurd (maybe an ounce or so) place food in and soak overnight. I use real garlic from the grocery store and mince, soak and my fish go nuts over it.
I wouldn't go nuts using that stuff, especially if you have a smaller tank. Just think, every drop you put on contributes to more pollutants in the tank. I usually use about 3-5 drops per cube of frozen food and that's about all it takes. If you are using dry, I would put it in a cup or small bown, add the few drops, and then mix it around really well.
