So I was wondering, if all the fish in the fish trade love garlic, if I soak my freshwater fishing bait in garlic will I have better results?

My fish hates garlic. I have better result just over feeding them.

I spray my jigs with garlic when fishing for crappie. Just caught 18 in a few hours a few weeks ago.

I meen like if I'm gonna go fishing in a pond or lake and I soak my worms or zoom bait in garlic will it make a difference?

I have used commercial garlic sprays on artificial baits, and plenty of soft artificials come impregnated with garlic oil. It wasn't scientific, but rotating between unscented and scented in the same colors led me to believe it does make a difference. The company my brother works for makes a garlic attractant and I've got more stashed than I'll ever use.

FW fish love the stuff......at least some do. They really seem to like the garlic bait attractants the best too. Used 3 different scents on lake seminole last year and garlic was the clear winner.

They hold on much longer and ones that wouldn't pay any attention to bite. I swear by it. I use the chartruse and clear. Christy is the owner of the store. She is very nice and will take care of you.

like the kmart where 92 intersects?...

Edit: and barry....go to sleep....

Salt seems to work best but yes it does work. The fish hold on to the bait longer cause it has a TASTE.It does work for me but I perfer salt.
