Genius or not? DIY sock holder

Well I searched for days trying to find one for a troff but couldn't find one that would fit my application. So I go creative and for probably $20 I made this. I used 3" PVC for the actual sock holders. The rest is 1/2"

Looks good, but for reference, 4" pvc is a perfect match for a 4" filter sock.

You certainly get credit for creativity! That's way better than most DIY contraptions for sure!

I learned this the hard way. There is a fix though. Those look like 4" couplers you used. If that's the case glue a piece of 4" pipe in them and then glue a 4" knockout in the pipe. Break the center out of the knockout and it's the right size.

I originally bought 4" couplers but they were too big. These are 4" BRS socks

hahaha, i live for diy and bottom line is as long as it gets the job done and since i have a heavy tan allow me to say ghetto is the way to go.....lol.
