Getting Close

Tank cleaning day, hoping to be ready for water by the end of the day. I will keep posting pictures as I move along. Still need to get sand and rock before I am ready to fill but I am getting excited as this is my first reef tank in close to 10 years.

Lighting is waaaaaaaaaay different these days. I will be using a AI Hydra 52 and a Prime, it is amazing what control of every aspect of these lights you have.

Finally added the first livestock today. Picked up a pair of clowns at Nemos.

Nemos is a great place to get livestock. And they also have good coral.

Added the first coral frags today. A blue and pink chalice, sunburst monti, and ORA green birdnest

Added a couple more fish from Nemos again. Coral Beauty about 3 inches and a very small Six Line Wrasse.

Coral beauty and those acans might not mix well. Keep a close eye on it.
