going throught some of the stuff I've picked up over the years I found an old magnum cannister filter I purchased when I first set up a tank so many years ago.
Question I have would this old cannister be of any use as a gfo or carbon reactor. water enters into the cannister from the top flow thru media in a center filter container and pumped back out the top via an internal pump.
Anyone familiar with this particular filter and any thoughts on it.
The only draw back I can see is the amount of filter media that can be used at a time
