Glass sump durability and flow?

Does the amount of flow through something of a 40G breeder size stress the glass? I am likely going to be building a 40G breeder in the next day or two for a sump on my 110 and I am wondering if after I add my dividers are they going to flex with 1100gph? My return pump is adjustable down to 600 so I am not too concerned but I am theorizing here.

You have to remember that sump panes are pressurized from both sides. I wouldn't worry about pane pressure

If water drops in the return area because you do not have an ATO there will be a difference in the water levels. But I wouldn't worry about it being too much stress.

I'm running an extremely undersized 30g sump on my 225g with about 1200 gph with absolutely no flex issues at all. Only issue is water noise draining into my overflows. Therefore, I may only run one of my two return pumps and reserve the other one for redundancy...

Thanks guys :) will likely be paying a visit to petco today; hope the sale is still on. Anyone near forsyth have a glass hole saw bit for a 1 inch bulkhead?
