good live rock locally?

I'm getting close enough with my 90g build to be thinking about where to source the live rock. Given what I read online I was thinking about using tampa bay saltwater, but if I can find some decent stuff locally, i'd rather do that. I'd rather avoid dealing with the airport and all that. Is there any good source at any of the shops?

Nemo s has great , coralline encrusted live rock. Plenty of shelf rock , too. Go see Simon. He'll fix you up. I just bought some a month ago... great rock

I'm not interested in dry rock at this time. I like all the critters from the live stuff.

I would go with dry rock and cure and cycle in yourself.

Fine suggestion, but i've never cared for how it looks. Plus a lot of the fun for me has always been discovering things on the rock itself.

I would be worried that half of what you find is stuff you're going to spend years trying to get rid of...

Nemo s live rock is free of any problematic, unwanted pests. Rock is covered in coralline. Wouldn't hurt to check them out. My last batch from there was great .
