Good reef tank fish?

I'm looking for colorful fish that are reef safe and are not to expensive. I know that clownfish are very popular but I would also like some more variety. Thx. :fish:

My favorite fish is obviously a blue spotted jawfish. Usually costs $100-140. Very colorful, active, and full of personality. Some people don't have great luck with them or feel they are beginner fish. I have had great luck with them.

Tell us about your tank. For instance I love powder brown tangs but if you have a 10 gal tank that may not be a good idea.
