Currently need some type of sand sifter to move and clean the sand in my bio cube. I have two ocellaris clowns and one six line wrasse. As a clean up crew I have some turbo snails and a few hermit crabs. Can somebody recommend a good sand sifter.

14 gallons is pretty small - you may want to go with nassarius snails. Most sand sifters will probably starve if you wanted to go the fish route.

I was looking at doing a watchman goby pistol shrimp pair but do not think I will get much sand agitation or cleaning from that

You could do those, but neither is a sand sifter. They will create their burrow and that will be the end of that.

You could go with a yellow diamond goby, but it will almost certainly starve to death.

+1, this is most likely the best bet in a small tank.

Micro brittles are great for general leftover food & detritus removal, but will hang out almost exclusively in the rockwork. In a small tank for sandbed stirring I'd go with dwarf hermits, ceriths or nassarius.

That or just stir a section of it each week with a good ol' pokin' stick or small gravel vac.

Lol that is what I am do at this time. I am looking at a power vac so that I don't have to do a water change biweekly
