Wanting to trim this guy up a little. Anyone have experience fragging one? Could I get some advice?

ive read into it a little. as far as the cutting goes i think you can just cut it with some wire cutters. when you're mounting the frag trim off about a half inch of flesh at the bottom and glue the skeleton down. the flesh will eventually grow down and start spreading to create a base and may send out more stalks.

It is a similar to fragging a coral, but mounting it is slightly different. After cutting it, I trim the "flesh" off to expose the branch or core. Epoxy and/ or Super glue from there.
Also, there is the fishing line trick too.

I haven't yet seen one that I liked. That one looks really nice though. It's not NPS is it?? As long as it's not I'd be interested in a frag!
