Gorilla Crab...

Got some new corals the other day, and this morning I found a brownish hairy crab with sharp black tipped claws crawling on a piece of SPS that I got. Saw him, removed the sps for a minute while I coaxed him off the coral with a plastic straw. He is now residing in a tupperware on my kitchen counter.

Anyone have a use for this guy? Otherwise, any suggestions on what to do with him?

If you're ever up around Alpharetta we can set up a playdate with my mantis :D Warning...he doesn't play fair.

that would be sweet to watch. I had a yellow spot octopus and loved to watch him annihilate crabs, shrimp, and anything else I threw in there...

I try to only give him problem species like gorilla crabs or emeralds/hermits that get a bit too predator-like but it's been a while since I've sourced any. I try not to feed him beneficial critters....but since gorillas and the like get flushed anyways....game on. Been hand fed so much lately he may not even be bad-tempered anymore :)

Got a picture of it? Would love to see it!
