Got a shipment of corals in today...

I know... what a freaking tease!!!! I vow to not look at this thread and boycott any pictures!!! Maybe that will teach you not to tease us like this in the future!!!

Come on Jin, this is a real tease. I am sure they are gorgeous and colorful.
 
Sorry for the delay. Half of the corals arrived dead as the container cracked and the water in there was icy. These three are doing fine though so at least I know they're bulletproof.

They are chilli pepper monti, fire polyp undata, and valentine's day massacre palythoa.

Gotta love those names... :)

The chilli pepper is also known as a forest fire monti I believe. This particular one comes from Frag Farmers. The fire polyp undata comes from ATL and is a new release from Ming and crew. So far its kinda dissapointing, but I dunno if the cold made it lose some of its color or not. We'll see... As for the VDM palythoa... WOW, its now my favorite palythoa. It's the size of a nickel or so and its color is very bright. These are the large ceramic frag plus for reference on size. I didn't think I'd ever find a paly brighter than the lord of the rings palys... and yet here it is. It looks much better in person imo.

As for Chip, he's doing fine so far and loves being treated like a king! :up: I'm still waiting on test results from yesterday and we see an ortho specialist tomorrow.

I ordered these guys from Atlantis on Friday morning before this horrible weekend started. They had a buy one get another 1/2 off deal thing. Most years I buy electronics up the yahzoo for black friday... this time I only got a few small gizmos and a bunch of corals :).
 
rofl. I think I can get you to look. Pick one and I'll get you a frag of it. :)
 
Still not looking but I know if it is from you it has to be good... Lets see how well I know you. (Honestly, I have not looked)... I bet you got some bright colored frags. Most likely 6-8 of them. Humm... I KNOW there has to be a zoa or two in there so.... Maybe an Acan but if I remember you are not as Ga-Ga over acans as Darren but I would say maybe 1 Acan or Blasto. Ummm.. A monti or two for sure (maybe even three). A Chalice?!? And maybe a branching sps of some type, super watermelon something or another.

How close did I get?!? I know the Monti and the zoa for sure. You can not do an order without one of those two and most likely both. The rest would be SPS for sure!

So make me a frag of the Zoa! ;)
 
Well the other zoas have not opened yet... not sure if they'll make it but they are triple reds, ATL fire and ice, Candy apple red, and Sour apples. All very pretty... but not sure if the others are going to make it :sad:.
 
Is that all you got were zoas?!? Then I was way off with the SPS.. I would have thought that there were atleast a few pieces of SPS in there. Well, then I am in line for a frag! ;)
 
Well you were just interested in zoas... There were 5 sps but only 2 survived :). Those are pictured. I'll swing a few by next week.
 
You called your tank a crayon box while I was at your house yet I really think crayola could get some ideas for some new colors from your tank.
