I've got green algae on the sides and back glass. It's the short stuff that my lawnmower goby and sea hare seem to really enjoy. So far they're doing a pretty good job of keeping it under reasonable control.
Now, in a few places I've got patches of very long green hairy algae that I plan to remove today during my water change.
Am I doing this right? Leaving the short stuff for critters to eat and removing the long unsightly stuff (not sure it's any harm -- it's just ugly).
Thanks for your guidance. I'm getting there with your help!
