Green Monti.... Not so green!

I got the monti from the february meeting as one of the freebies. It has grown great but has no green. Just brown. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

What kind of lights do you have? And where is it in the tank ( like how close to the lights)

i have T-5's and i have another monti that is red and has plenty of color. Ther e is one blue bulb and one white. (sorry that is all i know)

20gal long and bulbs are 24" im pretty sure. The monti is right under the lights.

2 things can cause that the most often. Not enough light & excess nutrients. At this point it sounds like not enough light (at least).

Sounds like lack of light. I have a green monti cap with purple rim which looks as it should. I've seen it in other tanks and it looks brown. The main difference between the setups is lighting.
