Is anyone growing their own phytoplankton at home separate from the tank (i.e. using fertilizer, etc)? I'm looking to set up a culture at home. I'm curious if I need to temperature control the water or if ambient (around 68-70) is ok. I figured a 2 gallon water bottle + one of those 5000K bulbs I found would be a good setup.
