GSP gone wrong.

I think that is the right name for it. I got it at the frag meeting. It was a little purple square. It was growing really good and then the polyps stoped comming out. What causes this? All tank parms are good just had them checked. This is a before and after shot.

The only time my PSP closes up is when it's irritated (i.e. after a water change or if something has touched it.)

How long has it been closed?

It has been closed for 2 days. No water changes no touching in the past 4 days.

Yes it is between 1.024 and 1.025.

I had some do that too. It just stayed closed for like a week. If your parameters are fine, it will probably open up in a few days or so. I guess they just need time off on occasion.

My perams are near perfect and My gsp`s close up on accasion for what seems no reason at all.I`ve seen them close for 4-5 days at a time???Got Me.

DkH would be my guess, as this has been what I've traced GSP issues in my tanks in the past to.
