Hair algae on acropora

Anyone have suggestions on how to remove the hair algae off my acropora? It’s attached to the rock and the rock can be removed from the scape with some difficultly.

yup, fraggy time. Cut where there is good flesh on both sides of the cut, dont leave any dying tissue on the new frag.
 
ah So the white on the underside of the coral has been like that for a while. I always figured that the coral was white because of how that side never got light but I haven't seen this issue with other people. I recently killed the top part of it doing a water change where when I took out the water I checked the temperature of the new water and it was at 88 degrees. So the top part of it stayed out of the water way longer than it should have.

I just fragged off all the dead bits so hopefully it survives. Thanks for all the advice
